You will be able to work on your own individual projects, in a relaxed atmosphere, and the tutor will be on hand to guide and develop your learning and understanding of dressmaking.

Suitable for beginners and those with some experience. These instructed sessions comprise aerial perspective drawing, tonal values, and the grey scale, automatism, drawing from life, composition, zentangle, still life, and more.

An opportunity for existing or previous beginner students to follow onto the next level and advance their skills and techniques.

This is a mixed-ability group, where everyone will be welcome, however, a basic understanding of drawing and watercolour is preferable. 

An opportunity to learn the basics of watercolours and/or refresh existing skills.

An all levels upholstery class, to work on individual projects at a suitable pace.  Certain materials such as calico, horse hair, cord etc can be purchased from the centre.  Beginners must start with a small piece such as a foot stool or a drop in seat.

This course is designed to follow on from those who have completed the ' introduction to sewing course' or those who have mastered the basics of sewing and wish to extend their knowledge.  It is a teacher led course, incorporating theory and practical lessons.  THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS.

 This course is suitable for those who are familiar with the main principles of basic drawing at beginner’s level. Throughout the course we shall cover new and varied viewpoints of drawing each week.

This 10 week course will introduce you to silver jewellery making and is suitable for beginners.

The objective of this class is to give a basic grounding to enable you to feel confident to tackle your own projects or to join a sewing group or more intermediate class with confidence.

A mixed ability class where students will be able to pinch, coil, and slab or throw pots depending on what is appropriate for their individual chosen project and ability. There will be an additional charge for materials. 

Mixed Ability - Beginners will learn how to cut glass & be introduced to basic methods of assembly, making a small apprentice piece. More experienced can learn the advanced techniques of painting, firing, fusing & slumping. There will be an additional charge for materials. 

A traditional course designed to show you how to work in the traditional craft of book binding, construction, renovation & repairs.

A mixed ability class where students will be able to pinch, coil, and slab or throw pots depending on what is appropriate for their individual chosen project and ability.  There will be an additional charge for materials.
