CheckoutThis course is suitable for those who are familiar with the main principles of basic drawing at beginner’s level. Throughout the course we shall cover new and varied viewpoints of drawing each week.
Course Information & Teaching Methods;
These instructed sessions comprise executing the theory of the seven elements of art, exploring the theory of and practice colour, further developing an understanding of both line and aerial perspective, drawing inspired by the Masters, compositional studies, including the Rule of Thirds vs Symmetry and balance. Also, optical art, drawing textures, developing your own artistic style and more. Learning methods include group discussion, one to one tuition, questions and answers and demonstration of techniques. Handout reference sheets will be given to accompany individual subjects. Numerous sketching materials will be used, and techniques developed. Sketchbook practise will be encouraged.
Equipment;
The weekly basic materials will be supplied.

A good quality A4 or A3 sized cartridge paper sketchbook, to record your progress
